I read lots of similar complaints.. One of the participants said exactly what happens to my computer:. I think both times that it happened I had taken screen shots. I have taken lots of screen shots at other Zoom meetings so I don't think that is the problem. I will try to shut down all other apps before opening a Zoom session. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thank you for confirming the problem is out there.

I also am having difficulties with my Clipboard. I will be asking for help from Microsoft regarding that issue. Has this solution worked for others? I was having problems having zoom find my foward facing camera and updated all drivers. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

Updating drivers from the Device Manager or Windows Update is rarely enough.

The most basic thing we need to learn to maintain a PC is keep the latest manufacturer's drivers installed from their Support Downloads web page. Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account. Then if necessary continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.

This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, is the most stable method to advance to the latest version, and solves most problems. I hope this helps. I also have been having these issues with multiple laptops, the screen goes black and then a loud buzzing sounds follows and the whole laptop is unresponsive until a restart, then it happens again very randomly.

In reply to Chewy's post on September 2, I'm also having these issues where Zoom crashes. It stops me being able to hear any audio, and then a loud buzzing sound occurs. It doesn't freeze my laptop though or turn the screen black, or shut down my laptop.

In order to get it to stop, I have to restart my laptop and even wait a few more minutes. Sometimes the buzzing doesn't always occur, but my audio stops working and I get a notification on Zoom that my audio isn't connected??

Nothing seems to really trigger it, it just happens randomly. I've even tried creating my own Zoom session with just myself, and after a random amount of time, it says that the audio isn't connected. In reply to QuincieHD's post on September 17, I have the same issue. I haven't been able to find any solution. I just got this laptop at the beginning of September so I need to know if it's the laptop and take it back if so, but no definite resolutions so far, unfortunately.

It worked fine until today. Today, when I open Zoom and try to join a meeting, I get a buzzing sound, a blue screen with Error Device I have tried uninstalling Zoom and reinstalling it, but no luck. Nothing changed as far as I know on my computer between yesterday and today. Windows just shuts down on my 2 be laptops as soon as I install zom and have the 1st call.

First just the screen went black, but then both computers just won't restart giving a "attampting to repair" mesaage and then just freezing. Tests foind no other problem. Reinstalled Windows for coiple of timea and each time the amw problem occurred as aoon as zoom was installed. In reply to LilitGevorgyan's post on October 9, Apparently, the latest update updated the driver for the Microsoft Integrated Camera, but it doesn't work.

After rolling back to the previous driver, everything is working again. In reply to TeresaSumiyoshi's post on October 9, In reply to sethgeldzahler's post on October 14, So this is a Lenovo solution. I need one for SurfacePro. Camera seems ok. This site in other languages x.
